LOGISTICS INFORMATION


Event Date: Thursday, September 5, 2024

Event Time: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Load-in Time: 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (time slots will be assigned)

Event Location: Tivoli Quad on the MSU Auraria Campus, 1000 Larimer Street, Denver (enter at 9th Street)


Directions:

Coming off of Auraria Parkway, turn onto 9th Street. Turn left onto Walnut Street. Follow Walnut to the first corner of the Tivoli Quad, where we will direct you to your spot. 


food trucks to provide:

  • Truck on site during the event, including generator for electrical needs; you will NOT have access to power
  • 500 appetizer-sized samples, to serve from 7-10 p.m. You can also sell additional menu items, if you wish.
  • Any equipment needed
  • Serviceware (plates, napkins, forks/spoons, etc.) We are working to secure partner support for serviceware.
  • Staff; if you need labor assistance, submit a request for Colorado ProStart student help through the logistics form (above)
  • Marketing materials and décor
  • Gloves and a thermometer 
  • Valid food truck license for DENVER

DF+WF to provide:

  • One 8-foot table, with linen 
  • 4 crew passes (all crew must be 21+ with proof of ID)
  • A voting bucket to hold “People’s Choice Best Food Truck” poker chips; each attendee gets one vote. There will be a prize package, so bring your A game! 
  • $300 labor + product stipend, to be distributed at the event
  • There is access to potable water, but it will not be hot. Please bring your own hot water, if you need it. 
  • Ice (if requested through logistics form above)
  • Trash & recycling disposal
  • Colorado ProStart student support (if requested)
  • Marketing and promotion before, during, and after the event

Load-in Time:

You will have an ASSIGNED load-in time between 4 – 5:30 p.m. Denver health inspectors will arrive at 6 p.m. and your truck MUST be set up by this time. 

Load-in Gate:

The “Gated Vendor Entrance” will be accessible from 10th & Walnut Streets, directly across from the Tivoli Garage.


DAY-OF CHECK IN:

Please arrive BEFORE 5:30c p.m. to ensure a smooth set-up procedure. Look for the restaurant check-in desk at the vendor entrance. Each truck will be given up to 4 event wristbands, to be used by your staff. All staff must be 21 and older. IDs will be checked at the load-in gate, so please advise your staff to be prepared. We cannot hand out wristbands without a proper ID. It is your responsibility to determine your staffing needs.  

ALL TRUCKS MUST BE CHECKED INTO THEIR ASSIGNED SPOTS AND READY FOR DENVER HEALTH DEPARTMENT INSPECTORS NO LATER THAN 6PM!


PARKING:

Parking for cars will be available in the Tivoli Garage ($20) and surrounding parking lots ($15). We cannot cover your parking, so please carpool, if possible. 

 

Mobile Food Truck Permit:

Every restaurant will need a Mobile Food Truck Permit VALID IN DENVER.


REMEMBER TO BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

  • MOBILE FOOD TRUCK PERMIT
  • Gloves
  • Handcarts/dolly (if needed)
  • Soap
  • Towels
  • Thermometer – required by health department
  • Décor/promotional materials
  • PH Test Strips
