Chef de Cuisine, Toro by Chef Richard Sandoval
Chef Ricardo Mirón is honored to bring his passion for culinary artistry to Toro by Chef Richard Sandoval in Denver’s Cherry Creek, where he now leads the kitchen as chef de cuisine. With a deep respect for Latin American flavors and a drive for innovation, Mirón is ushering in a new era of bold, ingredient-driven cuisine at Toro.
Originally from Veracruz, Mexico, Mirón’s love for food is rooted in tradition and elevated by his global experience. Over the past decade, he has honed his skills in some of the world’s top kitchens, including those of culinary visionaries José Andrés and Richard Sandoval. He has earned a reputation for creativity, precision and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Before joining Toro, Mirón most recently served as chef de cuisine at Tán in New York City, a Richard Sandoval and Jonatán Gómez Luna collaboration. There, he developed seasonal dishes that delighted guests and earned glowing reviews, helping to raise the restaurant’s Open Table and Google ratings to 4.7 stars from 4.3.
At Toro, Mirón combines classical technique with modern interpretations of pan-Latin cuisine. His dishes reflect his roots, his world travels and his commitment to elevating every guest’s experience.
