Wild Taco is a culinary-driven concept that originated from a professional friendship between the COO, Yoon Terry and the CEO, Rico Aragon years ago in Vail, when the two worked together at various Vail restaurants. The friends’ culinary paths would cross again in 2022 when they realized they shared a vision to bring a unique taco concept to Denver and Wild Taco Denver was born. The two experienced industry veterans, Aragon and Terry, have capitalized on their common love of modern Mexican food, with Terry’s South Korean heritage as the distinguishing factor and added a twist to the otherwise classic Mexican cuisine and cocktail program. Maximizing on its uniqueness the popularity and potential for the future has been more than evident.  Their aim has always been to create the ultimate casual, fun but most of all creative yet still classic taco restaurant-bar-patio lounge experience with friendly service, crave worthy food and libation menu, served a lively atmosphere.

 

COO, Yoon Terry, Originally from South Korea is well-known in the Denver hospitality scene for working with, and being a key component, to the success of restaurateurs the likes of Frank Bonanno, Troy Guard and Josh Wolkon of Secret Sauce F&B. Terry’s proven track record continues with the 2022 opening of Wild Taco in Governor’s Park and to now with the opening of the second Wild Taco location in the popular Berkeley neighborhood.

 

CEO, Ricardo Aragon In 2011, Rico started his first venture with Barbed Wire Reef Multi-Concept Food Trucks. Starting with his friend’s pickup truck and trailer, Rico began serving up exotic gourmet burgers and sausages across Colorado, growing his food truck operations from one truck to five trucks and three food stall locations. In 2022, BWR Restaurant Group was born and shows no signs of slowing down with the recent addition of the Wild Taco brand. Aragon, originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, grew up with an intimate understanding of Mexican cuisine from generations of family cooking knowledge and skills that brings the authenticity of Wild Taco.
