Riedel Wine Glass Seminar :: Friday, September 9 at 5:30 p.m.
Known for its glassware designed to enhance different types of wines, Riedel has been perfecting wine glass design since 1756. Join Riedel ambassador Doug Reed for an educational and entertaining event that will change the way you drink wine – one of the festival’s most popular events! Through a fascinating tasting, Reed will demonstrate the relationship between the shape of a wine glass and the drinker’s perception and enjoyment of different varietals. Attendees will experience first-hand the ways in which the appropriate stemware fully delivers the bouquet, taste, balance and finish of a wine to the senses, and will leave the seminar with their own four-glass Reidel tasting kit, valued at $120.
